Sun & Rain- Waterfall
Sun & Rain’s album entitled Waterfall, is now out via the awesome folks at Out of Your Head Records. Sun & Rain is a collaboration with my friends Jason Nazary, Andrew Smiley, and Nathaniel Morgan. I’ve played music with Andrew for almost 25 years and Jason for 20 years. We co-composed Waterfall over the course of six years, so it was a long and slow creative process. At times I didn’t think we would finish the piece, but we finally did! I’m really happy with how it turned out and I hope that you enjoy the music. It’s an album-length journey. New Video!
The video of JACK Quartet performing String Quartet I by yours truly at Roulette in Brooklyn is now up! The audio was remixed by Michael Hammond and I’m really happy with how it turned out. This was a performance for the ages and I’m so grateful that there is a document of it! Stay tuned for a forthcoming album of this music and more, but in the meantime I hope that you enjoy the video!

I’m very happy to announce that my new album entitled The Golden Lock will be released on September 27th via New Focus Recordings! You can pre-order and preview a short track on My Bandcamp Page. Battle Trance's latest album entitled "Green of Winter" will be released on August 26th on New Amsterdam Records! "Green of Winter" is the 3rd album-length piece that I composed for the ensemble (along with "Palace of Wind" and "Blade of Love"). We are also celebrating our 10th anniversary as a band this year. Side A was recorded together earlier this year in Vermont & side B was done remotely last year, each at home, then produced by Jason.

Wild Tapestry
I"m honored to have been commissioned to compose a new work for this year's Yellow Barn Music Festival. It's for a crazy instrumentation of Harp, electric guitar, two percussionists, trombone, trumpet, flute and tenor saxophone. The ensemble features Eduardo Leandro and Steve Mackey as well as many new friends. The work is entitled 'Wild Tapestry" and will be premiered on July 17th. Tickets can be purchased Here.
